Srizony Bangladesh, a National Non-profit Voluntary Social Development Organization, established in 1985 with the initiative
of a group of educated social workers of Jhenidah. Since its inception, it has been working for the human and socio-economic
development of the poor and disadvantaged people particularly women and children at grass-roots level.
At present Srizony Bangladesh has undertaken different development programs like Human Rights focusing Women Rights,
Child Rights, Legal aid and awareness, Anti-trafficking, Health, Nutrition& Family Planning, Poverty alleviation, IGAs,
Education, Afforrestation, fish culture, Hospital, Sustainable Agriculture, WATSAN, Renewable Energy Solar Home System, Biogas,
Improved Cook Stove and other activities related to goal and objectives of the organization.
Vision:
A just prudent nation, free from hunger and poverty with full dignity and social esteem and exploitation free society
irrespective of caste, age, sex, religions and ethnicity.
Mission:
Socio-economic development and human rights establishment of the poverty stricken underprivileged people.
Belief and Approach:
Srizony Bangladesh believes that human beings are both the subjects and objects of development process as the people have
enormous potentiality to change their distressed situation. Srizony Bangladesh maintains participatory and bottom-up development
approach in its activities.
Goal:
To improve the living standard and enhance purchasing capacity of the targeted poor and poorest people.
